Postponed 24 hours…

Hola Boatbloggers,

Just a brief blog to let you know that the ARC has been postponed for at least 24 hours, because it is windy.

Now I know you landlubbers may than that windy is what a sailor would want, but this is premier division wind, or approaching gale force as we sailors call it. And that’s in the harbour!

This is a good decision by the organisers we think.

Hopefully we’ll be off tomorrow.

  1. Hi Lyn and Ju,
Thought we had missed you but hopefully you may still get to this message before you go.
Can’t believe the day is now finally here!
No doubt Lyn it will be like a very long busy shift on the NNU with no proper breaks, not much to eat, a bit of drama, a few technical hitches, the odd tricky moment, but all will be well and it will be over before you know it!
    Have an amazing time!

    Bon Voyage!
Lots of love Heather and Ann xx

  2. Stone me!! We had the winds here. 27 degrees and gale force. Half a tonne of Saharan sand and a dead Camel on the Fiat Punto. At least the freezer is full! Good call by the organisers. There is wind and then there is wind.
    sail safe and keep well.
    D&Mxx
